It was the first ‘Salsa night’, organized by Bugaloe and ArubaSalsa. The night started at 7 pm, with a beautiful sunset in the background and great live Latin music by Grupo Melao, one of the best salsa bands of the island. ArubaSalsa was there to get everyone on the dance floor with a fun and free salsa and merengue workshop. The evening was a huge success, with thanks to our ArubaSalsa students, who came and took the opportunity to practice their salsa moves and to learn some merengue!

We got a lot of positive reactions from visitors since they really enjoyed to go out and dance to live music before 11pm. The atmosphere at Bugaloe was very relaxed and with a nice breeze it was a very enjoyable evening under the Aruban stars.

This coming Wednesday there will be another ‘Salsa Night’ and a new chance for everyone who would like to come dance and have fun. Would you like to learn how to dance salsa or merengue? Take this opportunity to learn the basics of these great Caribbean dances with a free workshop by Reggie & Sabine. Everyone’s invited!

On this morning, 2nd year students of the Economic sector participated in different activities, like seminars and workshops. Reggie and Sabine from ArubaSalsa took care of the active part of the cultural morning with dance workshops salsa and merengue. A total of 70 students participated in these workshops. For most students it was their first time ever taking salsa and merengue lessons.

Their enthusiasm was big and it was fun to see that they could catch up with the steps fast and easy. After practicing different salsa steps, it was time to dance together in couples. This was also no problem for the students, most of them really had talent!

By participating in the workshops, the students discovered that dancing is not only fun, but also a great way to exercise and stay in shape.

Students that are interested in taking salsa lessons with ArubaSals pay a special price of only Afl. 125 for a 10-weeks salsa course.

We quickly completely full. That’s why we have decided that we must organize one more course of salsa before the holidays. This course will be a fast course, with the same amount of lesson hours but with a shorter period. We normally have 9 weeks of lessons with 1 hour per week. This fast course will be 6 weeks with 1,5 hour of lesson per week, still resulting in a total of 9 hours.

The fast course salsa will be for beginners and will take place at Club di Movimiento in Noord.
We will start on Thursday, November the 13th at 7.00 pm. If you would like to participate in this lesson don’t forget to inscribe on time. Last time we had to tell allot of people that we were full.

‘Riba Un Trip’ was present at our popular and sold out lesson for students at Mambo Jambo to promote our 2 new salsa lessons for locals that will start on October the 27th and 28th. The host of the show Nabhilach even danced and joined our lesson!

RBNTRP will be aired this Thursday the 23rd of October at 10 pm on Tele Aruba channel 13 or 23. Don’t miss it!
