Meet Raghnall (Reggie) and Sabine, the founders and instructors of the biggest salsa dance company in Aruba, ArubaSalsa. Maybe you’ve seen them dance at salsa hot spots like Mr. Jazz and Mambo Jambo. They stand out because of their elegant and unique style of dancing salsa, a result of years of experience in dancing and a special chemistry between this couple on and off the dance floor.
Reggie grew up in Aruba and made his first dance steps when he was only four years old. He fell in love with salsa and took it to the next level while living in Europe. For over five years he has been teaching more than thousands of people at the biggest salsa dance company in the south of the Netherlands. Having a busy schedule teaching five nights a week, three hours a night, one of his specialties became the beginners group; the hardest group to teach.
A couple of years ago during one of his classes a special lady caught his eye. Sabine, a Dutch girl who was doing her best to impress him, successfully did so…
They fell in love and kept on dancing ever since to the dance that brought them together: SALSA!
Sabine always loved dancing and has been since she was a little girl. After years of experience in dances like jazz ballet and streetdance, she caught the ‘Latin fever’ and started taking salsa, bachata and reggaeton classes. Nowadays, her dance style is influenced by all these beautiful dances and she created her own sensual and gracious style. Together with Reggie she has been teaching for the last couple of years and adds the female touch to the dance lessons.
After years of teaching in the Netherlands and teaching thousands of tourists in Aruba, they are now here to pass their passion for dancing and teach the Aruban community salsa and other great dances in a fun and easy way. Reggie and Sabine don’t believe in such a thing as having two left feet and no sence of rhythm. With their step-by-step approach and personal attention they can teach everyone who wants to learn, how to SALSA!
