About Us
ArubaSalsa, founded by Reggie and Sabine, is the first and only dance company in Aruba that is specialized in teaching Salsa, Merengue and Bachata to tourists from all over the world.
Reggie, a native Aruban, has been dancing since he was 4 years old. He comes from a musical family and fell in love with Salsa in Aruba and took it to the next level while living in Europe. He has been teaching more than thousands of people in the Netherlands for over 4 years. Having a busy schedule teaching 5 nights a week, 3 hours a night, his specialty became the beginners group; the hardest group to teach.
It’s always a challenge for him whenever there’s someone who doesn’t know a thing about Salsa or other dances, to then, within a couple of hours, transform them into swinging dancers to this hot Latin beat.
His motto: "If you can count and walk, YOU CAN DANCE!"
A couple of years ago during one of his classes a special lady caught his eye. Sabine, a Dutch girl who was doing her best to impress him, successfully did so! They fell in love and kept on dancing ever since to the dance that brought them together… SALSA!
Sabine, who has also been teaching for the last couple of years, adds the female touch to the sessions and nowadays completes the ArubaSalsa team. She is known for her sensual moves and lady styling.
Today they’ve decided to move back to Reggie’s home island Aruba to fulfill their dreams: to convert their hobby into a small enthusiastic business while teaching people how to dance Salsa and other great dances. By keeping the classes small, giving one-on-one attention and by explaining every little detail step-by-step ArubaSalsa guaranties immediate results.
